Hotel is very well located, near to shops, restaurants, port, beach, supermarket, cafes. Nice restaurant and bar downstairs in the hotel with very good food and drinks choices at very reasonable prices. Very well maintained and quiet rooms with very comfy king bed Nice continental breakfast provided with option to add an extensive choice of cooked breakfasts Very friendly and helpful staff.

Loved the location, walking distance to everything, cafes restaurants, pubs. You could go for a walk along the foreshore, the pontoon snd yo.to the beach. Loved the level we were on, top level because of the view Loved the every day clean of room if you wanted it. Loved the continental breakfast Staff were lovely and friendly. Parking was great.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. We love the old-world charm of the room and furniture. We didn't get to dine there because it fully booked (NYE)

We have stayed here several times before. The location is great and our room was very comfortable in general. The meal in the restaurant was reasonably priced and excellent.

Great room with fantastic view of ocean and loved the spaciousness and comfortable couch to relax on. The bathroom was bright, loved the spa. Good towels. Very comfortable bed with good pillows. Coffee maker and added bonus, well enjoyed. Good continental breakfast in the morning, which came with a friendly chef. Good dinner, with friendly staff assisting.

A beautiful old hotel built in 1870 that is well-preserved with antique style furniture but has the comforts of updated bathrooms. We loved the breakfast that is included in the old dining room with lots of old photos of previous eras there. Our dinner in the restaurant was fabulous but make sure you book as it was full on a Monday night!

The rooms are roomy, very comfortable and cosy. Bed and pillows are great. Shower and bathroom was great. Towels were so lovely, thick and soft. Great continental brekky.

Close to most amenities and attractions. Great dinner in the restaurant. Continental breakfast was included and provided a great selection of brekky items. One feature we were impressed with was the traditional choice of fruits in an individual drinking glass for convenience rather than having to help oneself from a big bowl.

absolutely gorgeous property! felt like I had slipped back into the stunning period of 1800s except with all the mod cons! Reception staff were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast room felt very special with a fantastic assortment to choose from and lovely friendly staff. The downstairs Restaurant & Bar had a wonderful feel to it and the menu was plentiful and reasonably priced. we were lucky enough to have booked the upstairs room with a door onto the balcony overlooking Portlands beautiful main st and park, and we had it all to ourselves!

The location is convenient, the room is incredibly quiet though it is just on top of the restaurant, It is very clean and spacious too. Bar stuff is fantastic though. Parking is easy. Checking in is fast, though the counter was not attended at 5pm when we reached, it's just a ring away to get someone promptly.
